Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2026
Swipe ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
When you create a Swipe account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password. When you build your business page, we collect the content you provide — such as your business name, logo, service listings, location, and social links.
We also collect usage data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the platform. This helps us improve the product and diagnose issues.
If you connect a payment method or receive payments through Swipe, we collect the necessary billing information. We do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by our third-party payment providers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Swipe platform, process transactions, send important account notifications, and offer customer support.
With your consent, we may send you product updates, tips, and promotional content. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time from your account settings.
We use aggregated, anonymized usage data to understand how people use Swipe and to improve the product experience.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform — such as payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and analytics tools — and only to the extent necessary.
We may disclose your information if required by law, a court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Swipe, our users, or the public.
If Swipe is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Your Business Page
Your public business page (e.g. swipe.ltd/your-name) is visible to anyone on the internet. The information you choose to display — including your name, services, photos, and contact details — is public.
You are responsible for the content you publish on your business page. Do not post content that is misleading, unlawful, or infringes on the rights of others.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how you use Swipe. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect some features.
We use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that set their own cookies to help us understand usage patterns.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Certain records — such as payment transaction logs — may be retained for longer periods to comply with financial regulations.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security reviews.
No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@swipe.ltd.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can update most of your information directly in your account settings.
To request a copy of your data or to request deletion, contact us at privacy@swipe.ltd. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app. Your continued use of Swipe after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact Us
